Innovative mobility solutions are opening up more and more opportunities for people with restricted mobility and self-determination to fully participate. With intensive research and development, Sunrise Medical has always contributed to the breaking down of barriers in everyday life for wheelchair users. Based of this, we have now been recognized by the well-known Stifterverband for the continuous commitment and willingness to invest in research, allowing us to carry the "Innovativ durch Forschung" seal of approval.
This special award "for problem solvers and innovation heroes" was first awarded by Germany's largest private science sponsor in 2014. The selection of companies is based on a nationwide survey on research and development of the economy that takes place every two years. Only the research companies that show excellence in that field are allowed to bear the seal for two years which not only underlines our special research skills and innovative ability, but also willingness to take responsibility for the state and society.
